Just as the Grimms were devoted to rebuilding their country through mythology, David Feinstein emphasizes “We need new myths; We need them urgently and desperately.” Telluric Mythologies brings together two artists who work in significantly different ways, but who both draw from connections with the earth. Radha Rose works in a personal way to investigate individual mythologies and traditions through painting landscapes from her past. Jacklyn Brickman has an empirical approach, repurposing technologies to investigate human mythologies and traditions through folk and herb lore.

Exhibited February-March 2018 at The Neon Heater, Findlay, OH USA
