The Department of Planetary Futures ACSE Lab experienced an accelerated closure tin March as a global pandemic, COVID19, which had been sweeping across the world in previous weeks was now making its way across the country. Accordingly, on March 10th, the process of preserving all live planetary propagules began.

Each bulb allium cepa with bolts and roots was moved from GCIII to a 32oz glass specimen jar. Working atop LTII, first, the identification sticker was moved from the bulb allium cepa beaker to their new jar. Loose skin, rot, mold and debris was removed in most cases.
